I am one of those types of people who's always on the go non-stop from sun up to sun down.I I move in a very fast pace and i'm always zooming from here to there. On my job, people actually will move out of my way because I feel as if everyone is not moving at a pace fast enough for me. I have even had this one person to ask me if I worked for the president because I am always on the move. I don't do cat naps because I feel as if It's a waste of valuble time where I can be doing something productive. I just have this need to always be on the move and to keep myself busy. I went to a couple of doctors because I though I was having heart problems. He said that I have the heart of a 20 yr old that he wish he had my heart, and that I am fine. I went to my family doctor and he said that I have anxiety and made me a prescription that is good for nothing more than helping me to sleep better at night. I just want to know of this is a normal behavior. I have more to say but not enough space.

Sounds like you might be running away from something in your life that you are unhappy with or that you are such a people pleaser that you forget yourself. You NEED to take time for yourself to unwind or you will hyperact yourself right into a major coronary! Try to start with 10 min a day doing something sedentary that you enjoy like reading or watching tv, then work up to at least 60 min per day for yourself only! The human body cannot keep up that type of on the go behavior without severe consequences down the line. Please try to take care of yourself too.

No, this is not normal. You're time is probably your greatest resource, and you're burning it like it has no value. You need to learn to invest your time.

Rest is NOT a waste of time. It refreshes you so that when you're involved socially at work, with family, or as a volunteer, you can give it your absolute best. Quality of time is more important than quantity. And this is ABSOLUTELY how your boss feels.

Budget your time like you do your money. You've got to be disciplined. Overdoing it will stress you. Stress will destroy you, and could destroy your family.

I know. I used to be the same way until I started having blackouts. It only gets worse from here if you don't start making better decisions.

And good luck.

Women have a thing called progesterone. When levels are high they are calmed and relaxed. When the levels are low the have increased anxiety and stress levels. Inositol, 5htp, melatonin can increase the brains ability to deal with stress. Does not change the stress, only your ability to deal with the problem. You can increase this with diet, Food supplements, or if severe enough a prescription from a doctor.

It´s a good thing when people are always on the go and are very active but you also need time to relax and rest. So keep up with your errands but take some time only for you to pamper you, take a relaxing bubble bath, go see a movie , go to a spa, relax! If you are always on the go maybe one day you could get a burn out or get ill so make time for you to rest. Go to the gym, etc. take care of you!!! good luck and relax!!!!!

I hope you don't drink coffee.

You need to stop and smell the roses. Get laid once in a while. Do something for yourself instead of the job.

maybe you have a good heart but you're gonna burn out.

good luck with that. I'm sure they'll appreciate all you've done when the office learns of your nervous breakdown.
