Almost any color is good.
Even something totally different. Mine was a nice bronze color and no one else had anything close.
I've always hated white dresses though... leave that for the wedding!

well...it really depends on ur personality
if u are a girly-girl - pink or lavender, or any pastel colors really
if you are a tomboy - green (not LIGHT green, just green)
if ur kinda in the middle - blue, or a medium hue or any color
or you could always go for the black and white theme, which never is out of style...just not completely white OR black, because then u might end up looking like wither you are going to a wedding and got lost, or that you are gothic or something.
but black COULD be ok, if it had lots of beads and ruffly things...
i guess it really just depends on your own personality and style, and the style of the dress - some dresses are just UGLY no matter what COLOR they are.
just sorta see what matches with your skin tone and hair...
if you have pretty eyes, like light brown or blue or geeen or something like that, see if you can find something that compliments them.
i am assuming this is pretty FORMAL, but if it is more laid back and upbeat, maybe something bright and OUT THERE like hot pink or vivid blue.

It would be better if you told us the color of your hair/eyes. Red is a color that turns guys on; blue means your calm and mellow. But I think pink and black go good together for prom thats the colors I wore at least and I looked pretty good!!

It definately depends on you skin tone and hair color. Whatever makes your favorite features pop! If you are pale to medium complexion... wear soft colors, if you are medium you can pull almost anything off-lights,brights,tinted,shaded. Dark complected, I would suggest a cross between bright colors that are shaded down in tone.

The best color to wear to any dance is a color that compliments your skin tone, looks good on you, and you like.

choose for a colour that looks stable against your epidermis tone, hair and eyes. Like i might positioned on a blue or eco-friendly gown, because of the fact I even have pink hair, blue-eco-friendly eyes, and diminished epidermis. yet do not positioned on white, you will appear like your going to a marriage or something. I wore a black drees with some white, and that i regarded stable.

black is always a popular color, but I think you should wear something bright, like hot pink or an aqua blue . . or canary yellow would be pretty too . .
