used to be able to, I'm not sure about it anymore. used to be for mp3's- download-save on hard drive-reformat as .wav files and then burn onto a cd, then they would play on cd players..not as compressed as mp3's but as .wav files I was able to play them on any cd player, computer, in the car..what have you.

yes you can. If you have windows media player, what you want to do is download your song, put a blank music cd in the comp, and add it to your burn list. Then it will transfer back into a wave file (which is on the cds you buy at the store) and you can play it in your regular cd player. I only do this with music for myself that I have purchased from msn music. I don't know if its considered pirating if its been bought and is only for personal use. hmm. Good luck. well, you can download music onto your computer in mp3 format, then burn it onto a cd, and the burned cd should be compatible on most cd players.
