Is is possible for my ex girlfriend who is 16, to take me (18) to court because I dumped her? We did things, but it was like 2 months ago, is it possible for her to prove anything? What are my chances of winning the case?

I am not really in thie situation, but she did bring it up and it kinda scared me.

She is not pregnant or anything, and we havent fornicated in 2 months, so can she prove anything?

She cant prove Jacksh!t, but its a bad idea to put yourself in that situation because all she needs to do it tell her parents, or bring the word RAPE into the equation and your picture will be on your states sex offender website, reguardless of how long it's been all she has to do is say you had sex with her and you are guilty of statutory rape (btw, the consent law is a myth), she doesnt even have to bring charges against you her parents or the state can, your 18... go fornicate with the other 18 year olds

Are you serious! One of the factors they take in consideration is age difference! If every 15 year-old took every 17 year-old they had sex with most of the men in this country would be criminals! If you were 18 and older when you were have sex with a 15 year old it may be different. By now there is no physical evidence, though more people are convicted of child sexual assault with no evidence than with it!

It would never see the day of a court room!

You may want to check out the story of Monica Lewinsky's denim dress. If she saved anything with your semen DNA on it and the statutory rape age is sixteen and under, and if the other party is eighteen and over, then yes its possible. There is a reason they call it jail bait.

Be very careful, does anyone else know about you ever doing it?I had to pay like $15,000.00 to get my step son out of charges for his younger g/f who pressed charges for underage,if you did anything and no one knows about it,be quit and deny any sexual contact! She needs your DNA to prove or someone to testify against you!Good Luck,it is a mess otherwise!

I take it you're afraid of statutory rape charges? That would depend on the state you're in, obviously. But, unless she has photos or witnesses I don't see how she can "prove" it. Of course, if it makes it to court and you lie about it ... then you face perjury charges which are very serious.

I would definately be worried that she brought it up, and I would make sure from now on that you only "do the deed" with WOMEN that are 18 or older. I have had friends that have done time for this sort of thing and it screws up your life. It's not worth it!

Yes.. it is possible for her to prove you had sex with her.

Some of the ways that could be used are any identifying marks on you.

A description of an unique erection characteristic

A DNA sampling from an item of clothing of hers...

I am appalled at your attitude.

There are reasons for statutory rape laws; mainly to keep mindless young men's hands off young impressionable girls that can be easily be persuaded.

I hope she did keep evidence. If she didn't just remeber that we all have to face some sort of karmic judgement.

One word, just one word from a vindictive bi@*@! My Brother is still in jail on a bogus charge, NO EVIDENCE and a corrupt DA. Keep praying that she's not such a person.

Yes, she can prove that the old saying is true. "Hell knows no fury like that of a woman scorned." And no, it's her word against yours. Stay away from her like you would stay away from a viper.
