I am not exactly sure why you're asking this question, perhaps a bit of background would be helpful. If you are pregnant with an unwanted child, you have several options.

1-The first, of course, is abortion. This can be done at any reputable gynecologist's office, though not all offer the procedure. You would be best off calling around, or finding a reproductive specialist, or a clinic specializing in abortion.

2-You can continue the pregnancy and follow through with adoption for the child. I feel that this is probably the best choice, since, though I believe in a woman's right to choose what to do with her body, I don't really think it's right to kill an unborn child. There are several forms of adoption....You can have a closed adoption, where the child and adoptive parents never meet you and the records are sealed. You can have an open adoption, where the records are not sealed and you can still be part of the child's life, but without any real responsibility. You can have a partially open adoption, where you don't have contact with the child, but upon turning 18, they can find out who you are.

You don't need to simply force yourself to have a miscarriage, it is extremely dangerous for you. You could retain parts of the fetus or placenta and bleed to death. This is a matter best handled by a medical professional if you wish to terminate your pregnancy.

you should have prevented it in the first place.

i can't believe someone is on here asking how to miscarry. there is no way to be sure. crackheads have babies, don't they? they of all people should have miscarriages but they don't.

i've had 3 in my life. spontaneous ones. i didn't plan on them. i suggest you see a doctor for a 300 dollar abortion before you hurt yourself. and then seek professional help.

EDIT: i wish people would stop putting their opinions into their answers. everyone thinks differently. that's the beauty of humanity...is abortion murder? some say yes, others say no. is it a good choice? i would never have one...but i won't judge others who do. you have no one to answer to but yourself and god. but be careful what you chose. a hasty decision today (abortion) could become a nightmare in a year or two...i saw my sister go through it. she has a son now, but still mourns the loss of the life she aborted 8 years ago.

Go to a doctor and get an abortion if you really can't have a child right now. Abortions are much safer. A self-induced miscarriage can cause severe blood loss, infections, and possibly death. Don't risk yourself.

That is not a good idea to make yourself have a miscarriage. If you do not want to have your baby, just get and abortion.

What? Do you purposely want to have a miscarriage? If that's what you're asking, then, that's just wrong!!!

Having an abortion is your choice, but attempting to abort the pregnancy yourself is very dangerous. People have died doing this. Consider having a safe abortion or having the child and giving him/her up for adoption.

Sounds like if you are asking this question, you should have been more careful. Putting yourself and your child in danger would really be a bad thing. If you didn't want a child, then you should have used better precaution!
