You can always get a pedicure...that helps. But what I do when my feet are super dry I will put Vaseline on them and rub it in then (using a generous amount) then wear socks to bed and do this for several nights..... I bet your feet will be as soft as a babies butt in a few day to a week!!!!

Everyday when you shower, use a foot scrubber (brush, and then the metal one) while you're in the shower after your bath. The skin is softer then. Use the brush to clean the foot well and use the metal food scrubber to scrub scrub scrub, rinse the dead skin away and scrub some more. I recommend the smooth metal scrubber not the one that looks like a grater because that one will still leave your foot feeling rough. It will still be less hard but not smooth. That flat metal one leaves it smooth. It's really a difference you can feel immediately though. When you do it after the shower is better than when you soak. My ex-boyfriend started this when I complained about his feet and I was so impressed with the results, I started doing it too! And his feet were seriously rough!

Also use a thick moisturizer like Palmers Shea Butter(not the lotion, but the the one that comes in a tub). Apply it thickly to the feet at night then cover with a thick pair of socks you don't care about and keep them on overnight or until the product is fully absorbed. Otherwise you will destroy your sheets.

Don't forget to lotion your feet regularly when you lotion the rest of your body. This makes a huge difference.

I really like Avon's "footworks" line. It works really well for cracked, callused heels. If you don't have a local rep, you can order it online at http://shop.avon.com/shop/. Or, you can always buy a home pedicure set from a store in your area (such as wally world or walgreens) that includes some sort of foot file (such as a pumice stone) to exfoliate and remove the layers of dead, dry skin that make your feet dry & cracked. Good luck!

Soak your feet in very warm water and oil for like 20 minutes and use a pumice stone at least once a week. Moisturize your feet 2-3 times daily with a heavy cream or moisturizer. Before you go to bed, apply a generous amount of moisturizer and sleep in socks. This is guaranteed to work because I know from experience.

Before going to bed, take a shower or clean your feet thoroughly. Then apply a generous amount of petroleum jelly and Keri lotion on your feet. Cover your feet with socks through out the night. Keep doing this for 2 weeks, you will have the baby like heels. Good luck !!!!

I'm an Arbonne District Manager and our Body Serum is fabulous for callused & cracked heels. I have before/after photos I can provide. The Arbonne products will give you 3.75 ounces for $35.
Another great item I've used is Kerasil (found in the local grocery store near the footcare.) Kerasil is expensive ($11 for a small tube / not even 1 ounce) but it works good.
If interested in the Arbonne products, you can order online through my website www.TexasSkincareSolutions.com- the products will ship directly to you, and if not satisfied, you have 45 days to return them. How's that for a guarantee???? Email me with questions!

Before you go to bed you wash your feet and dry them put some kind of emollient or salve and wear socks when you go to bed so they will become softer and not crack.
A pedicure will not help cracked heels. Check with your doctor to see if you are getting diabetes because this is a common problem with diabetics.

take a warm bubble bath and let your feet soak for a while . . then use a pumice stone to scrub the dead, dry skin off your heals . . . then once you get out of the tub and dry off, put vaseline or baby oil gel on your feet and put on some thick cotton socks . . . do this every night and you should see a drastic difference!!

Exfoliate the dead skin with a good salt scrub, apply shea butter, then seal it in with a Lotion Bar. A Lotion Bar is a solid bar of lotion made of beeswax. Beeswax is known to cure cracked skin (on both hands and feet).

You can see my blog posts about it:

Or read a recent review by another beauty blogger who tried the Lotion Bar herself: http://beautyaddict.blogspot.com/2006/09/city-bunny-country-bunny.html

First you need to use a pumice stone or a foot file to get rid of all the dead skin. When they are fairly smooth you need a good quality cream for cracked feet.apply daily and at night and wear socks at night.Thats what works for me,good luck...
