Yes, I travel for both work and pleasure. My out of the country travels have all been for pleasure. By far, the most interesting and beautiful place I have been to (so far) was Italy. I did a tour of the countryside where we started in Rome and travelled North to Venice. Along the way, we stopped in Padua, Assisi, Bologna and Florence. It was just so beautiful and interesting, the old and the new. The people were more and more friendly as we travelled North, and even though I speak a little Italian, we were always able to find people who spoke English and NEVER felt threatened in any way. I should note that we were Americans in Europe just 4 months after 9-11.

Other than that, I have enjoyed cruises and trips to the Caribbean. I absolutely LOVED San Diego, California. St. Louis was a fun city, but I got bored quickly. Atlanta is also very fun with lots of things to do, I think it would take a long time to get bored there. Same with Miami. Other than that, there have been some less interesting trips - Ohio, New York City (I was young), Niagra Falls, Canada, Washington DC, Virginia (pretty, but not much there that I saw), Pennsylvania countryside (didn't get to see much, short trip), Indiana...

I think that is probably all I can give you for my own personal experience. Best of luck!

Yes, I travel for both. The most interesting places I have been are Russia, San Diego, New York City, and Dublin (Ireland). Those are in no particular order.

I travel to Argentina, Paris, London, Belgium, and Germany for work. It is a drag, but I enjoy being in different places (My wife may think differently). The most interesting place i've ever been is Iceland. Wow! It is totally different than any place in the US.
