What happened to Ruthie in 7th Heaven? I know that the actor left the show but what happened with the character Ruthie?

Ruthie Camden became a foreign exchange student in another country. The actress left the show and will only appear part time because of the budget problem.

I do not know but I do know that she only signed for 7 episodes this season. Hope this helps a little, I have been wondering the same thing.

i think she went to the exchange program that she was talking about last season in scotland i think and who knows she might come back. and i think she just went because she likes the guy she met last season
