I think The Outsiders is the BEST movie and book EVER!! Whoever thinks it's not well then you have some serious problems!

While it is a good book-to-movie adaptation, I do not think it is the best ever. It was really well done and very true to the book and thats something that doesnt always happen. They did a great job of this.
My vote for best book-to-movie adaptation has got to be Fight Club. Anyone that has read the book knows that to turn that book into a successfully adapted movie would be hard for most to do. The book is just as crazy as the movie turned out to be and with a storyline so quirky, this gets my vote for best book-to-movie adaptation of all time

I definately loved the book better than the movie. I never liked putting the book down. I was left with too many questions. :] I think the movie was great as well. I really enjoyed the book though.

The book was better than the movie. I enjoyed both. Neither were my favourite of all time. I don't think I could pick one movie out of all movies I love.

I don't think it is the all time best, but it does rate way up there. I read the book after seeing the movie, and it is one of my favorites.

i dont think its the best movie/ book of all time. i beleive its 1 of the better books out there. but i think there are way better movies. but the book i loved the book n ill probably read it again if i had the chance to.

Yes, this is a modern classic! I've got the 'The Complete Novel' dvd that came out last year with the original begining and ending added back in. Awesome! What I didn't know though was the author was a GIRL! AND she was only 13 in middle school when she wrote the novel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Snap! ;-)
