Sit down with her and have a talk about the living arrangement rules.. if you don't have any i suggest you get a few in motions.. You had to know she was this way before you decided to roommate.. never the less set some boundaries if all else fell then inform her someone is going to be moving and starting over. Life is hard enough to come home to some BS..
Handle your business like a lady.

Sit down with your roommate and have a true heart to heart conversation, expressing what is really not acceptable for YOU under the same living arrangements. Explain how it is very uncomfortable for you. Then see if you two could come to some form of resolve

Simply tell her that you would like to be her friend and have things run as smoothly as possible. Be nice about it but say it would look better to people if your room was kept clean. Try and relate and think about how she feels. Maybe she is nervous about having a roomate and is just acting out of fear. Just be as nice as possible. Hard I know but if things arent better in a couple of months (1-2) get a new roomate.

You're going to have to be upfront with her - but approach the situation in a kind way. Tell her that you'd like to go over the rules of living under one roof. And negotiate - for instance if she keeps the room clean, you'll pick up the mail (or something like that).

I told my roommate that if he didn't get his crap out of the bathroom (stuff everywhere) that I was going to kick his scrawny a$$. He is 5'7'', and I am 6'5'', I think he believed me (although I would never do that) because it was clean in several minutes. He does not like me.

If it is really unbearable you should tell it to her like it is. Tell her there is no excuse for her acting like this and tell her you are not going to tolerate this. Also include that if she has any respect for you she will clean up or act or at least try and make an effort

time you had a talk with her. If things don't improve, you might want to consider getting a new roommate.

You could either confront her about it...or you could be more subtle: crazy glue her sheets to her bed (of course you make the bed how it should be made).
