I have a friend that cannot get their counter to work when somebody comes to visit and it just stays on 0...?

does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

yes, it is the problem with the page setting... you could help your friend by telling in order for her/him to receive the comments or show the visitors counter[s], make sure the setting give everybody the permission for open access not only the friends that you already have on your "friends list" however any new comers. And i wouldn't worry about the visitor counters that much because most of the time the front page does not show that however i DO counts...mostly it does shows up depending on how often you visit to your own page! good luck

i did visited your page and i see you have Total Page Views of
702, so it works...

No I do not know what that could be. Unless it's some type of settings. I would post this question again at the link below. They could tell you more.
