Do you find yourself considering something from the other person's perspective?

It's hard for me to do that, actually, if the other person's circumstances are a certain amount different than mine. If there are...thoughts I share with someone, ideas, theories, then that makes it a little easier. Either way, I try my best :)

I put myself in the other persons shoes in almost every important situation. It's almost to the point of fault. I don't get walked allover and I'm not a doormat by any means. I have a very strong personality but I always try to consider how my words or actions are going to affect the other person I'm interacting with. I have always had this ability to really hurt other people with my words and once I realized that I did this I started making a conscious effort to think about what I was saying and how it would make me feel if I was on the other end. It's been a constant struggle but it is something that can be achieved. What right do I have to make someone hurt or feel poorly about themselves? No one gave me that right and I have chosen to not take it upon myself to be hurtful unnecessarily.

I truly try to but sometimes I fail. I realize that somethings have to be viewed from another perspective at times and for the most part I do. There are times my own self gets in the way of it all.

Never, if I'm part of the equation.

I'm really not inclined to be that understanding.

But all the time if I have to try and work out what is right and what is wrong in the affairs of others; in matters which do not immediately concern me but which may be of interest to me.

Everyday - I always try to consider more than just one side of a situation and act accordingly.

Only if they are size 12......

No, seriously, all the time. I am a pretty understanding person when someone explains their side of things to me.

Not as often as I should but when I do, I find compassion and understanding as my guide.

Always because I want people to treat me as good as I do them.
