#1. change the oil and oil filter.#2. remove the spark plugs and squirt some WD-40 into the holes this will lubricate the cylinders and dry out any moisture there.#3. remove the air cleaner CAREFULLY just in case some animal or insects has made a home in there and squirt some more WD-40 into the carb or fuel injection throttle body and on the throttle linkage and work it back and forth SEVERAL TIMES.#4. with the spark plugs out turn the engine over SEVERAL revolutions, if the battery is dead jump it with a good one,if it turns freely your doing great.#5. drain the fuel tank and all the lines then flush them out with some spray carb cleaner, put fresh fuel in the tank, clean and reinstall or replace with new ones the spark plugs and it should start right up once the fresh fuel gets to the engine, keep a eye on the gauges and listen to the motor for any unusal noises if any are heard shut the motor off at once and find and fix the problem causing the noise.#6. if everything works ok then drain flush and refill the cooling system with fresh antifreeze/coolant and you should be good to go.TAKE IT EASY DRIVING FOR THE FIRST 50 MILES OR SO JUST SO EVERYTHING CAN GET USED TO WORKING AGAIN.Another thing if the car has been sitting on it's tires for the year they may have taken a flat spot in the tread if it does driving may work it out but if it doesn't then you will have to replace the tires.

First thing you will need to do is get a new battery. Check oil/water levels. Your tyres are goign to be pretty much flat, so you will need to pump them up. remove the coil wire from your distributor and crank the motor, so to get it lubricated fully. Once you have cranked it for about 3 or 4 times for about 5 seconds a time, put put in the coil wire and when it starts it will have enough lubrication!

You really should flush the fuel system, but if you can't try buying some StaBil fuel stablizer. If you store any vehicle, or lawnmower or any gas for more than a month, always add that stuff to the gas beforehand

First of all your battery is probably dead, and then it could have seized up some what. when you do get a new battery, start it gently or it will reveup full speed like a bat out of h-- and you could put a rod through the block. then you would have to get whole new engine. Tread softly and gently.

this may sound a bit unorthadox...but put some brake fluid in it before you start it...the brake fluid will get around the seals and "expand" them...only run this for about 100 miles then change the oil. do not do this to your transmission...only in the engine.
Before you do this at all...drive the car and see if it leaks oil. this is only a temporary fix but it works.
If the car was working when it was parked...it will work now.

your car will work again all you have to do check gas to make sure it is still good. and also check the battry to make sure it is ok .you may want to make sure you have plenty of oil as well
you may have pour gas in the carbirator the first time you try to crank it.
