It will eventually but you need to be careful. An untreated yeast infection can lead to other problems if it's not taken care of properly. The best thing I did when I had one and no money. Go commando for a couple of days. Steer clear of tight clothing. If you HAVE to wear underwear make sure they're cotton. As far as bathing goes. Steer clear of anything scented and no baths. You want to keep the area dry. Something to do at night...if you have a fan...sit in front of the fan, legs open and watch t.v. It helps. But like I said...you really should try to get something for it. Call your doctor and see if they can give you freebies of something, explain your situation. Most docs will help you out.

Definatly the plain yogurt, use a dipped tampon, take out after 2-3 hours, and just scoop some yogurt withyour hand and put it on, really soothing and works well

Probably will - but I have read that (and this is going to sound gross) that you can use a tampon that's been dipped in yoghurt to help things clear up. The bacteria in yoghurt (which is good) can help to fight the imbalance you get when you have a yeast infection.

Can you get money for food? if you can, go get plain, non-sweetened, no fruit added yogurt. Eating the good bacteria in yogurt will help control it. It will not go away on its own.

If you get the yogurt, follow whiney's suggestions with some of it, changing the tampon regularly, for about a week.

They aren't THAT much. And no, they need to be treated before it gets way out of hand.
