For any sort of book, you would either underline or italicize. From what I learned, the difference between underlining and italicizing is purely preference. I personally like italicizing better. Don't put quotes, though.
If your teacher has you underline your topic sentence or hypothesis (some do), it might be a little clearer if you italicize the title rather than underline.

you can underline or italicize the title of a novel when writing a paper. i normally italicize. you can only put quotes on the title of a short story, a quote, the name of an article, or a song.

i italicize the title, but this is not mandatory, quoatation marks are only used for, well, quotes.
