Nancy Sinatra DID NOT do the original version. Sonny & Cher did it first. It was written by Sonny Bono. Nancy and the others, even Cher's solo version were all done 20 or 30 years after that first hit by Sonny & Cher. Keep bangin' :-)

I didn't see the movie but know that Cher sang that song many years ago in her Sonny days. It was also used in a rap song a couple of years ago.
