I have recently moved to a new city, state. I am trying to get my business going again. I was quite successful in my last state. I am not having any success with my older customers doing catalog parties or individual sales. I need to get my business going locally. Help.

My suggestion based on past experience and depending on what business type you are in .

I have contacted the local Chamber of commerce and the local economic develepment corporation and asked that an invitation be sent out to each of the members, You might want to have some type of gimmick at your location when you do this. If its affordable maybe you can run an advertisement on the radio or television.

Good luck!

Advertise in the local newspaper. Put out sidewalk signs with bright balloons attached and make sure you can read them from far away. Walk door to door and introduce yourself. Mail out postcards. Marketing is the key to making yourself and or your business well known. Try sending out a postcard with a game on it so that the recievers spen a little more time looking at the card.

You need to advertise. That's the best way to get people's attention.
