vector between the points: <-2, -2, -5>

x=-2t
y=3-2t
z=2-5t

z=1=2-5t; t=1/5
x=-2/5
y=13/5

(-2/5, 13/5, 1)

1) find the parametric equations of the line:
direction vector is :(2,2,5)
x = 2 + 2t
y = 5 + 2t
z = 7 + 5t

2)As z must be 1, you have 1= 7 + 5t, then t= -6/5

3) Thus, x = 2+ 2(-6/5) and y = 5 + 2(-6/5)

x = -2/5 and y = 13/5

There are more elegant ways, but you could work this out easily with 2-D projections.
