I want to go away with my children on vacation but the court order states that I have to give 45 days notice. Well because of money situations I didn't want to book too far in advance and it has gone passed the 45 days. How do I get around this so that I can go and visit my family with my children? I want to travel in two weeks within Canada. Please help me I'm dealing with a very hateful and obsessed ex-husband.

if your ex- husband won't cooperate, there may be nothing you can do. consult a lawyer to find out your options. if your husband does cooperate, make sure you get it in writing, such as e-mail, so that he can't later say that you violated the court order.

I would talk to your lawyer and see what he or she can do. Just don't be surprised when he says no - he has the right to do so.
