I don't believe there is a definition. I have found love to be the real mystery of life. It seem to be totally outside human control. You can't make yourself love and you can't make yourself stop loving. I think it is the understanding that we should all aspire to.
To give it a name and definition is to take away from it.

that depends on if you want an actual definition or what someone thinks. i think that love is a choice, not just a feeling. love is deciding to care about someone and still be there for them even when you don't always like what they have done or are doing. love is a complicated thing, it comes in many different ways and there are different kinds of love. saying that you love someone is saying that no matter what, i will always be here, care about, support, listen, encourage, lift up, and be thankful for having you in my life. in my opinion, that is the true definition of love.

there is no definition. when you love somebody you just know it. sorry im not much help but its true. you will just know you want to be with them for the rest of your life!

There is no "true" definition of love...it's a feeling of completeness, it's a feeling of finding your "other half" he (or she) completes you and makes you feel whole.

Caring, sharing, endless giving, devotion, supportive, non judgemental. Love can be romantic if all the above are in place and there are sexual feelings.

some one that loves you back....some one that you can spend the rest of your life with.....and some one that will be there when you need them....but there is no real defintion to love...you should just know.....
