Once you purchase the domain, you can have anyone host if for you, or host it yourself if you have a webserver. Or godaddy can host it for you.

This from the person himself... oh, it's again up incidentally. =D "So what occurred: In 2008 we transferred our area to our South African registrar. For a few motive they used Godaddy to sign up it, as though they had been only a proxy registrar. Now in 2010 the area was once expired, however was once no longer automobile-renewed as all our different domain names at our South African registrar are. We did not detect the area was once going to run out. So, the area expired and Godaddy parked the area. So we contacted our SA registrar, however of path their domain names division does not paintings over the weekend. So we had to make use of Godaddy's excruciatingly gradual (12-24 hours reaction occasions) support & aid through e mail. Eventually we bought the area and renewed it so all is good. So now we've got nearly had each and every principal irritating web glitch occur to us.. however I'm definite there are a couple of extra ones simply ready so as to add that further zest into our lives!! Yayy!!"
