I am really in a rut right now and I need help. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex. My period was suppose to start a week after we had sex. I'm not sure if it will or not so my question is: is there a pill that I can take or a home remedie or something that I can do that can stop the growth of the fetus. Do i need to drink alcohol or take an over-the-counter drug. What do I need to do. There's no way I can get preg. What can I do before I even find out if I am pregnant so that it will not continue to grow? Please help me to miscarriage this embryo before it gets any further. What should I do.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can take, over the counter or otherwise that will do anything. The morning-after-pill is effective for only up to 72 hours if given and taken within that time frame. I personally find the idea of aborting intentionally abohorant. None of the other methods available are "do-it-yourself", at least not by yourself. You will still have to see a doctor.
You do not yet know if you are pregnant. It may be you are delayed due to many reasons, compounded by the stress of knowing pregnancy is a possibility. My best advice is to wait until you can confirm you are or aren't pregnant. Then this will not be a hypothetical discussion and you will have to make the final decision as to what you are willing to do. Keep in mind, life is the most precious gift you can give. I know this is not the information you were looking for. But I can't in good conscience tell you ways to miscarry or abort that I know will not work. I don't support abortion as a choice, because aside from the willful destuction of a living being, it will destroy a part of you as well. If and when you actually confirm that you are pregnant, you need to gather all the support you can- from family, friends, and outside agencies that can help you physically, mentally and financially. Make the decision to give life, rather than take it away, I don't think you will ever regret the decision.

There's an "after-pill" you could have taken the following day you've had sex. But it's too late. If I were you I would better go to a doctor to confirm or exclude the possible pregnancy. Then if you don't want to keep it, go for an abortion. Do not try to take anything on your own to affect the pregnancy. You don't want to wait until it's too late, drinking an alcohol, taking some drugs wouldn't necessary work. By then it might be too late to terminate the pregnancy and the baby would be born with many defects.

drinking alcohol won't cause a miscarriage but it could cause a brain damaged child. drugs and smoking won't cause a miscarriage but it might cause your child to be deformed and low weight. sometimes, super healthy babies are born to mothers who abuse themselves. babies only take the BEST from the mothers...even if we try to do awful things.

I have been in your situation...i am guessing that you are under the age of 20. You sound scared and confused and i'm sure your boyfriend is not up for the idea of becoming a dad.

go to plannedparenthood. google them. they are usually in every city. they can help you make a decision. get an abortion, keep the baby, adoption, etc. sometimes adoption is a blessing...we got my brother that way.

EDIT: and don't listen to people telling you that abortions are wrong. i've never had one, but i have never been in that situation. people who press on and on abouth how wrong abortions are obviously have never had the make the choice.

There is a pill you can take, but you have to go to the doctor. Don't try any "home remedies" because they usually just end up deforming the fetus, not terminating the pregnancy. Call a clinic or Planned Parenthood in your area ASAP and talk to a professional about your options, before it's to late to do anything.

First of all that is terrible that you would want to get rid of your baby there are people out there that would love to be in your place,second of all how long has it been since you had unprotected sex because you could take a day after pill but you have to take that with then 72 hrs ,third thing is you would not be ovulating at time you had unprotected sex you ovulate 10 to 14 days after your period so your fine . How old are you? This makes me so sad. But you are wrong to not consider there is a life growing in you. Just because you call it a fetus does not make it any less a baby. Look at this website, it will give you all sorts of information on how babies are sucked from a womans uterus.
