I was a Republican but have become a Democrat because of 1, the war, 2 the trillion dollar debt run up to Communist China--that is horrible, it has to be paid off and it will be very hard to do so, 3, the totally incompetent and inadequate response to Hurricane Katrina, 4, basically burning the Constitution--there is no way the Constitution allows torture or holding people without trials or even lodging charges against them, we do not want this to degenerate into Stalinist Russia but ignoring the Constitution is a good way to make that happen, 5, this Foley scandal is bad enough but even worse is the fact that Republican leaders deliberately covered it up for at least a year that they knew about it.
I have had enough. More than enough. I am disgusted and fed up. It is time for a change. Please join me in voting Democratic this November, thanks!
