Saturn return is an astrology thing.
Every twenty-nine years or so Saturn returns to the place where it was in your chart when you were born. It's supposed to portend a big shake-down in your life or something.

Ah, well, now you're asking a question! While astrology doesn't tend to work well in real life, it can be a wonderful guide for plot twists.

A woman with everything in fiction will of course go through a bizzare midlife crisis...

and here, the return of Saturn is particularly informative, because Saturn is the ruler of lead, which represents knowledge, and stability. he is also cold and wet, and is a bright whitish star, quite like many of the brightest stars around.

Modern sailing ships have lead keels for stability, lead fishing weights for food, possibly even a Lead and Line for depth measurements. being cold and wet, points to a voyage somewhere up north, or around the horn (afica or South America... doesn't matter.) The brighter stars which saturn is so much like tend to be among the 58 selected stars in the Nautical Almanac, and are most useful in celestial Navigation. This, and the lead and line suggest to me that this will be a trip using traditional instrumentation, rather than modern electronics.

Of course, in fiction, we can also play up the tragic side of saturn... and this works well with lead bullets, notably buckshot, as rifles are a favored "defensive" weapon for boaters, but often suffers from unintentional discharge in untrained hands.

I would think it would be something spiritual - maybe a connection, perhaps with her past?

Or a secret or memories that start to haunt her and she needs to find out the truth?

What do you mean when you say "It's her second Saturn return."
I'm confused with this statement.
