seems like most of these long answers they dont know what they're talking about anyhow, what da ya think.

No. If they take up too much space I give them a thumbs down to eliminate them from my screen. I hate 'boiler plate', often copied from Wikipedia.

If that's obviously boring or all copied-and-pasted, you could continually hit "thumbs down," and that minimizes it. i have discovered that i visit decrease a lengthy thread in 1/2 doing that. yet each and every so often those lengthy solutions include good things, and our definitions of excellent things and our tolerances for length determination fairly. I try to keep is short and simple and to the point! Thats what it should be, the people here are looking for a simple fix not an essay!!!

Nope!! I skip right over them!! Isn't that bad? I tell people; keep it short and to the point!!

if it's just a wikipaste, then no, i dont bother reading it.

if it's a personally written answer, and it seems slightly intelligent, then yes, i'll read it.

some of them i have read and realized they are taking answers out of a book..some are so long that i will not read them.....
