No, they at least made the playoffs. Choke is spelled C-U-B-S, year in and year out. It takes a fine team to choke for 98 years straight.

very nearly the cardinals. i think the cardinals would have been a bigger choke than the tigers because they play against less superior competition and they had a 8 game lead with like 10 games to play.

Usually I just use a lower case c-h-o-k-e, but sometimes, like when it is important, I will capitalize the c as in C-h-o-k-e.
