Well there's always the potential for the apocalypse, Cliffpott. Or an enemy invasion. Or floods caused by global warming could short circuit all the voting machines.

While I dont think America has had a president as fascist as Bush, I doubt he will be able to stop the election in 2008. But he and the Republicans will continue to break the law and try to steal the election, just as they did in 2000 and 2004.

Yes, there will be an election in 2008... Of course, by then the Skynet Computer virus will have caused all the voting machines to rise up against us, and declare George W. Bush the winner again... with Al Gore as VP... and within two days, all our nuclear missile will be launched at Russia, because Skynet knows that the Russian counterattack will destroy it's enemies here... and then the Governor of California will reveal his true identity as the TERMINATOR!

*Sigh...* but it would be a lot less hassle for all of us if an asteroid came and wiped the earth out of existence before then... Kidding... kind of...
