Hinduism. For Buddha himself was a Hindu. They share many of the same core values, but Hinduism believes in more than just life is suffering.

they are both related and Indian subcontinent actually Buddhism originally comes from the Hinduism, it is another dimension of Hinduism. i say go with the Hinduism it is over 1500 years old and you will have more sources to support your theories, good luck on your decision...

Although there are certain similarities between the two, I opt to study Buddhism. I can't say I particularly practice successfully though...

I am not a religious man but I appreciate the teachings of both. It's amazing how many similarities there are between religions, and we would all do well to look for the similarities instead of the differences.
