I heard that they were coming out with a Camaro convex car, but I want one that you can buy. I have one myself from 1968. And I'm still trying to find it's original owner. But anywho, I want a Camaro that's modern, but I love my 1968 model to death! So I know I would love a modern one!

Chevy is bringing back the camaro at the end of 2008 but wont be for sale until the first quarter of 2009. Even better, you like the 68 model and the new design is based on that model year with modern styling. The person who designed the C6 corvettes also designed the new camaro design. It will be affordable, it has to compete with the new mustang and charger. Check out camaro5.com for more info and plenty of pictures.

YEP!! I work in the plant that was given the go ahead to build the new Camaro. Oshawa Ontario car plant 1. The plant needs to be remodeled b4 production can start.. Going to be a flex manutacturing plant so we can build both front and rear wheel drive cars without shutting down to retool. We also build the Impala and Monte Carlo and will probably be doing some of the cars from Car plant 2 (pontiac) which is slated for closure in 2008....Great looking car!!

Definitely, the head GM Guy Rick Wagonner announced the vehicle in August. It will be built in Oshawa, Ontario. Scheduled production in Jan 2008 but I wouldn't put it past them to bring it out sooner. Because if it starts production in Jan then they could call it an 09. But they have said it will be a 2008 so I think it will be like Octbober or November 2007 when they start.

comes out in '09 there will be a base model with a V-6 just like with the new Mustang.

They are in business to sell cars to the masses. You'd think they would want everyone to own one, like making a stripped vanilla Chevy with a V6 for about 20K, so working people can drive it too, but who knows.
