This is fairly normal for someone either beginning to menstruate or someone nearing menopause. It's important to get with a doctor at some point though, because there are reasons other than pregnancy for irregular periods, and some of them need to be treated. For example, I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, which is easily treated, but can lead to cancer if left untreated. If you can't talk to your parents about this, then talk to a friend, go to a clinic, or find a teacher who will help. There is most likely NOTHING for you to worry about, but you are doing good to keep track. I didn't, and I went for years with this problem and didn't know. Good girl, and congrats - welcome to womanhood, for better or worse :)

Ignore everyone here because I know ehat I'm talking about. You are completely normal it takes a couple years even for some girls to have regular cycles. My sis had 2 a month , then three months later one so on. However if you have heavy bleeding or unbearable cramps when you have a period get your Doctor to prescribe the pill if not don't worry. Ps Mine were always regular but I only started at 16 almost 17 and I was normal everyone is different

I would not say anything is wrong with you. Many women have different cycles. When I was your age, I had a period every 3 months. Now, in my 30's, I may skip a year or so. Don't get me wrong, to go that long is not healthy. When I was young I was put on birth control strictly to regulate me.

It's normal, especially if you just started your period. Most periods don't really even out for the first year, and then some never do. It's not going to hurt you, and birth control is not a must for you, unless you want them every month. If you're really worried about it, see a gynocologist.

I started my period when I was 11 and it was screwy for atleast a year. Then things seemed to calm down a bit.
My first question is, are you having sex?
If not, you should go see a Gynecologist. There are birth control pills out there that will help you regulate your periods.

Congratulations, you are 100% normal. Most young women take at least a year or so to establish a regular cycle. If you're not sexually active, you don't have anything to worry about over a missed period. If you are, make sure you're practicing safe sex so that you're not giving yourself something to worry about!

You are very fortunate certainly! It's flawlessly natural for a few ladies to revel in no interval pains in the course of her interval, however while you can also increase them in a while in existence, despite the fact that it's plenty much less most probably as you develop older :). Nothing to fear approximately!

I got my first period when i was 15, i didn't get my second period until 6 months later. For the first couple of times your period sometimes doesn't follow the regular pattern that a regular period does, but that is normal.
