Question

My husband and I have ttc for a year. Last period was shorter and no clots spotty first day light bleed for 1 1/2 days then spotting . Cramps startded the day after, breast are 2 inches bigger my pants don't fit like they were, headaches daily along with being tired. I took a hpt negative my doctor gave me a urine test neg but I feel pregnant she wouldn't give me a blood test. I have to miss a period totally first. We have not told any body we are trying. The ohther day my mother told me that she had a dream that I was pregnant with a boy. I have dreams thatI was pregnant.
has any one been pregnant but the tests says neg. Has any one had dreams or others had dreams they were preg?

most of the things u described indicate pregnancy. alot of them i just experienced myself as i'm 7+ weeks with twins...but some of the things you've probably imagined because you want to be pregnant so badly. we all tend to do that. i know i've gone through it for years. your breasts wouldnt of gained that much weight this soon or your pants wouldnt be ill-fitting already.
but you still may be very well pregnant. the dr's office usually uses test that aren't as sensitive as the OTC ones, so its very likely.

Both times I was pregnant I knew way before the tests said I was. Home pregnancy tests are activated by the levels of hormones your body produces when you become pregnant. Some people produce a lot of this hormone right away, some don't. I never passed a home test until I was about six weeks along. However, when I was trying to get pregnant the second time, I thought I was pregnant every month we tried. Just be patient, and try the test again in a few more days. The best time to take the test is when you first get up in the morning before you empty your bladder.

The only thing you can do, is either wait and see if you dont miss your next period and then have your current doctor do a blood test, or find another doctor who will draw your blood. I am unsure why your current doctor wont draw your blood if you have health insurance and it's covered.
Wont comment on the dream thing, as I'm not a big believer in that.
27 and been trying to conceive for a year. If you are not pregnant this time, I would start getting checked. Husband first for sperm count and then you. Trust me been there done that and I waited to long. You are still young.

I went through the same thing you did. I am expecting my first at 26. I was also told to wait til you miss a FULL PERIOD. I was negative on all my test at first. I hated the wait but after I missed that first period I went in and I was Pos. So most likely you are, because I had all those feelings you did. Good luck!

I had my period for the first 3 months. All the ptt came back as no and one day I went to the dotors and made them give me a test and I be dorn it came back as I was pregnet. I had a baby boy 6 months later. All of my kids (3) The test always said no but all 3 times after going to the dotor I was. Good luck It happens to people all the time. More then people think.

Well I always knew my first child would be Timothy Jared...thought I was safe when I met his dad 'cause he was Timothy Scott.....I always knew he was a boy.

I went to be one night with horrible cramps...crying...and dreamt that they took one of my babies....but the girl on the left was fine....a few months later I got pregnant....I felt her move inside me and was only 4 wks....supposed to be impossible, but that somersault is what made me rush out for a pregnancy test...it was a girl alright. A month before I had her I dreamt of my counsin in the hospital posing for a pic with her dad and her new baby boy.....so I called my aunt just to catch up on things and she let me know Tony was pregnant, I told her I was too and Tony was having a boy.....she did.

Now the question I have refers to a dream I had where my sons father surprised me with another little boy....Tyler kept calling me mommy, he was maybe three....I kept correcting him and told him his mommy was in Oregon.....I was Tims mommy....his dad...also named Tim, kept saying its ok, your his mommy too.....I didn't know my sons father had passed away....I assumed the dream was literal and when we saw him again he would surprise us with another child........there aren't anymore though, which is why I keep in mind I may not be through.....this little one looked a lot like son unlike his other half siblings...kind of weird huh...

so sweety......keep trying, if you aren't already you should be soon, mothers dreams do not lie....mine certainly never did. There are a lot of false negatives, false positives are much more rare.....my reaction is that you are pregnant.....

With my fisrt pregnancy I had 2 negatives before I got a positve. The way you describe yourself it sounds to me like it could be one of 2 things. either you have a hormonal imbalance or you're pregnant. For either you should talk with you doc. If she isn't willing to do the tests or listen to you find a better doctor.
