My wife and I have enjoyed breath control for many years. Typically we use a Shopper's Corner bag for our play, which I secure over her head with a belt. She is not allowed to remove the bag until she has manually pleasured me, or passes out, as it sometimes happens.

Now that she is 7 months pregnant, I'm wondering if this is safe for the baby. Do we need to wait until the pregnancy is over?

Not at all. I wouldn't suggest continuing the practice period. It's incredibly dangerous and a slip up could happen at any instance.

I acknowledge that you both have been practicing this activity for quite sometime. For the baby's well being, however, I would suggest not doing it until after your wife has given birth

No, it is not safe. If the oxygen content in the blood is low enough for her to pass out, it is way beyond far too low for the baby. If it were earlier in the pregnancy, it may mess up organ development by killing cells that need oxygen. By 7 months, most organs are fully developed and growing. But if you were listening to the baby's heartbeat, it would probably slow down quite a bit when deprived of oxygen. Also, asphixiation causes CO2 to build up in the blood, causing the blood to become extra acidic. I don't know about the effects of acidic blood on the baby, but probably not good as well.

Good question. my wife and I also are into asphyxiation but limit it to choking only.. we've just had a baby 4 months ago and did practice this during her pregnancy. The baby is fine, however
depriving your wife of O2 until she passes out might not be safe.
everything your wife takes into her body or deprives her body of
also affects the baby....

This is not safe for anyone!! First it is cutting off the baby's oxygen and second when a person passes out, it kills brain cells!!

No! If your wife passes out, it is because she is deprived of oxygen. If you wife is deprived of oxygen, imagine what the baby is going through! You could kill it! Please stop! What goes on in your own bedroom is your own business, and I am not faulting you for getting your kicks in that way, but you can really hurt the baby.

Personally I would recommend waiting. A lack of oxygen to the fetus could be very harmful.

I really REALLY hope your not serious about doing this when she is pregnant. STOP!!!!!!! Really bad for baby, and in my opinion, you should not play this game ever, pregnant or not, but hey, 2 each there own, but NOT DURING PREGNANCY. When her Oxygen supply is cut off, so is the babies. I hope your baby is OK
