My husband and I are getting divorced...and I know for a fact that he doesnt have a gf because he's ALWAYS home. I don't know why he keeps telling he can hook me up, i can go out looking for dudes if i want, etc.

One of these reasons..
He's got someone he wants to see or ask out and doesn't want to look bad. May have met someone online.
He wants you to move on and doesn't want you to be lonely.
You're not divorced yet so if you do get involved with someone that would legally still be adultery and he can get out of alimony.

I'm a family law attorney, and I've got a good hunch. If you get re-married, he will be forever excused from paying alimony or spousal support to you.

Maybe if he gets you out there on the dating scene then he wont feel so bad when he starts dating other women. I guess it will make it easier on him to get out there as well as you
