No way!! Yanks are going back-to-back in '06 and '07 baby!! Just kidding, I'm a Mets fan. The Red Sox really need some starting pitching. Schilling is only getting older, and everyone else has pretty much been a bust. Taking a look at some possible free agents, Jason Schmidt, Brad Radke, and maybe even Kerry Wood if you are feeling adventurous.

im a dodger,i will give u my honest opinion
well i dont think they can make it 2 the playoffs, let alone win the world series.they R a good team, but they R in the toughest division in baseball.they need zito and soriano and they might make the playoffs.they dont only have 2 compete with the yanks but the other team that finished 2nd in their division i think the d rays.and then those 3 power houses twins tigers white sox,but they do have money and a good team so they got a shot.

What? Why are you already talking about next year? The playoffs are just beginning...oh wait, the Red Sox DIDN'T MAKE the playoffs, so sorry. Damn, it must suck to have the postseason underway, and not having your team be a part of it. Sorry about that.
Yeah, think about next year, if it makes you feel better. Maybe DH Ortiz will quit whining and realize that you need to play the field to be taken seriously as an MVP candidate.
GO YANKS!!!

Not next year, unless they're willing to let go of overpriced/aging players.
In two or three, though, they may have a chance. We'll have to see what they can put together.
