You could write about how the high-school norm of social cliques ill-prepares us for life in the "real" world, in which we are exposed to all manner of folk, from all backgrounds, of all religions, of all colors and from all socio-economic strata. Additionally, many of these people may be your bosses, clients or customers -- and, therefore, call the shots. Deal with it.
