Yes it does, first impressions count. Dress professional and speak eloquently. I interviewed a lot of people for job positions at my curent company and the previous ones. People who do not dress to the interview show that they are not that into the position and get pushed to the side...

Yes, if you can't present a good personal appearance it shows that you are sloppy and don't and probably would be the same in your work. Remember first impressions count.

Yes, quazimodo had one hell of a job getting a job ringing bells. But being ugly can be an advantage if you are a career criminal - in fact research has shown ugly guys commit more crimes.
