Hi I am currently 2 days late for my periods and have used two home tests that both came up as positive (they were both different brands and were both in date.) So I went to my Dr who did Urine and blood tests, today he said that they were negative, however I still have not got my periods and have been told it is very rare to get false positives on home kits and becasue I used two serperate brands I though the chance wouldd be even lower. Am I just hoping the doc is wrong?

No - I did not show the Dr the results but he did believe me. He just said to try again in a few days but I have been trying so long I am impatient.

I am now 3 days late and took another home test 24hrs after the test my Dr did that said negative - Home test was positive again and this was a third brand. So not a faulty batch. So confused - I want it to be positive soo much.

I ma sure CONGRATUTION are in order Wait a week or 2 than see the dr again you might want a differnt doc this one sounds a bit wishy washy

I would think you were but...did he use the first morning urine? is that what your using? cause maybe ur just not far enough a long to pee anytime of the day where itll show up.....id wait two weeks go back to the dr and do a blood test again....but i really do think your pg

oh my, i feel for you. wait a week and retest and if it comes back positive then go back to your doc and show him all your test(s) and have him recheck. something just don't sound right there, what are the chances that you can get 3 bad pregnancy test from 3 different brands. wait a bit and retry.

Hey this happened to me too. I was desperate to be pregnant, the home tests (2) said positive and the doctor said negative. I was sure but really dissapointed. later that day the nurse rang me. she had retrieved my pregnancy test out of the waste paper basket later as she knew how dissapointed I was and it was positive.. result heathy baby girl... best of luck to you too

go get another blood test. Maybe they got results mixed up in the lab?

If the blood test said you arent pregnant, you probably arent. You can miss your period for other reasons, Stress being one of them.
