I want to make a better life for myself and start anew. But my pot smoking a hole friends I feel are holding me down. Should I just drop them like a sack of meat?

If you are already refering to them in this way, you bet you should drop them and find a different group, sounds like you grew up and they didnt. Good for you!

Yup, definitely, this just happend to me this year, i realized that i was getting older and had to be more mature, I had alot of friends that I hung out with for years, we were real cool but i noticed that they were all losers and holding me down. Theres a saying that says, Show me your friends and ill tell you who you are. So just drop them, I did and I have been living a better life for myself and my family, and also my wallet is alot more fuller when you drop those bad habits... it's gonna be hard at first but it's worth it for your own health and life.

It sounds like you're trying to move forward and they're just sitting still. I wouldn't say drop them entirely, but maybe limit the time you spend with them (to practically nothing). Get out and meet some new people with goals similar to yours.

you cant just drop them, if you found some new freinds, just hang with them more and ease off the old ones, how would you feel if you were just dropped like that. if you just ease off you have a better chance of not makin enemies.

If they are a bad influence in your life then you definitely need to change friends, you have to do what's best for you and your future, so it would be a good idea if you start over. good luck!

Yes. Get away from your druggie friends. If you want to make a new start for yourself, get away from them.
