Everyday I go to school with a bunch of people that think exactly the same, act basically the same, it's driving me insane. Those people are all friendly with me and we joke together, you know, the whole close group thing(well it's a class of twenty). I love them, but I never tell anybody what I really think all the time, not one of them really knows me. I desperately want a serious relationship, but they are all immature, nothing like the type I fall for. Girls are something in the past for me, they're all indecisive since the whole i'm gay trend. I think about the whole serious relationship thing every ******* day and I wish I had any choice. Nobody around here is what I want in a man, besides boys my age are'nt really what I go for. I'm a bit mature for my age and them as I have found out over the years. I'm tired of thinking about this everyday and I sit here answering questions because I would rather do this than go and hang out with people who are completely oblivious to this stu

Hmm-m. I see you have a lot on your mind regarding the personalities around you at the present time.

A.) They do not challenge you to become better than you are now.

B.) Girls seem to be flaky to you these days because they are possibly non-committal. What was missing from this commentary was your age/grade in school, and the age of your friends and the girls you refer to as flaky.
If, as I suspect, these girls are between 12 and 18 years of age, they probably haven't the slightest clue as to what they wish to be when they mature, and they have had little exposure to outside influences which might mold them into far different personalities. I suggest that you not be so critical of young people and deal more positively with your own wants and needs.

C.) While Yahoo Answers is a positive and sometimes fun kind of thing, let me ask you (I am at a disadvantage here because I don't know your nationality, age, or financial status) if you have ever been exposed to amateur radio, macro photography, astronomy, geology, or "mobile" design, crafting, building? These hobbies are most intriguing, stimulate your mind in new ways, require a great deal of effort to master, and are highly rewarding in a variety of ways which include direct exposure to talented people outside your normal circle of friends. In many cases you can learn many things from these new contacts and widen the horizons of your present limited thoughts. All of these endeavors require something of you in time, effort and a various amounts of cash investment. Seek ways to earn the cash required to enter the area of your choice and try it out. You will be greatly rewarded in the long run by the knowledge gained and the new contacts you establish.

You may even encounter some like minded females along the way.

Cheers,
Zah.

That's all totally normal. Don't sweat it, just enjoy the single life for now. College will bring you a whole new range of people that you will probably enjoy more. In the mean time, why not just do all the things you were waiting for a guy to do for you? Go get yourself a nice dinner at a restaurant. Pick yourself up some occasional chocolates as a treat. Buy flowers if you like them. Take long walks. What do you need a guy for?

hang in there, eventually others will catch up with you eventually. i understand how lonely, difficult and frustrating it is for you. i went through the same thing when i was your age (not so long ago) and its does get easier...just remember guys mature much slower than girls and their minds are just on one thing most times and even if a girl is more mature they sometimes are more into competing with you for attention from guys rather than being your friends. keep chatting with others you find more complatable maturity wise but be very careful of men and women who are predators that try to befriend you. really it will all even out in the end. just hang in there and be thankful you aren't the kind of person to go out and do stupid stuff to compensate as so many do.

I feel the exact same way as you, I have a class of 23 and they're exactly like the people in your class. I have a boyfriend who doesn't go to my school who is very mature for his age like me, and a best friend who is very unique and different like me. I got a bunch of friends just through these two people, I would suggest meeting people out of school like I did.

As some people say ''Life sucks'' but, if it didn't you'd fall off. Stick with it, don't give up, it will all be over soon, then you'll be in college and soon enough out in the great wide world, and you'll look back on these days with great pleasure and wish you could go back, but by then the kids will be screaming, diapers will need changing, your mother in law will be coming, and so on, and then, one day, you will die, what's it all about?

You should go out and socialize more so you can meet people with similar interest. Maybe join a club or social group. You can even look online for things in your area that may be interesting to you.

Just stay on Yahoo with your "friends". I hated school too but when I got to university my life became much more exciting. Hang in there.

you sound depressed, but that is pretty normal during the school years. It sounds like you are looking for an adventure, hope it comes your way!
