I think they lie because maybe they have previously had an abortion and want to justify it. They want others to do it too, then they can feel like its okay to do.
Why else would they be so against an ultrasound before any abortion? Because they tell women and girls that it is just tissue and cells that they are sucking out.
They are against any kind of regulation on the subject. Its selfish and stupid.

It depends on what you mean by lying. They are often ignorant of the truth about abortion, but not lying about it. For instance, many pro-choice people do not know that the heart first beats only 4 weeks after conception, often before the woman even knows she's pregnant. Many are unaware that the baby is a seperate human being with its own blood type and unique genetic code.
Of course, I could be wrong. Instead, it may be a fact that half of pregnant women temporarily grow a penis.

I'd like an example of how they've lied- it would help make a good argument. I live near a Planned Parenthood and there are a lot of Pro-life protesters that show up. I wouldn't say that they lie exactly, but so far all of them have twisted the truth. I think you're kind of ignorant for assuming that it's only one side of the debate that's doing it.

Ignoring your obvious? inflammatory statement, here's a response:
Abortion is not an easy decision, but it should be up to the woman who has conceived, as it is her body. No person, male or female, should be able to tell another what they can or cannot do with their bodies. I also don't believe it should be used as a repetitive form of birth control, nor should the government pay for this.
To respond to one of the answers given that a woman should be sterilized if she becomes pregnant too often; let's find the men that continuously impregnate women & sterilze them as well (more than likely half of the adult male population in America would have to get snipped)...It takes 2 to tango gentlemen, let's not forget that.
Grow up, get your own opinion instead of spewing some right wing rhetoric & maybe once you get a clue you might be able to understand another's point if view? What a wonderful day that would be!

People lie because they believe its the way to be heard. That's unfortunate, though, because in this situation we have multiple lives at stake. Vital information should be handled with care no matter what side of an argument are on. We are all human, but is important for us all to take responsibility for our stances while at the same time listening to each side of the debate with care. God bless.

whats wrong with prochoice? if it does not look like a human baby yet then its not a human, but thats only how i think. that does not make me wrong or right. i also think abortion needs to be regulated better. if a young lass comes in for 3 abortions then she gets steralized. first could be an accident and secound could be rape but if she hasent figured it out by the third then she needs to be forcefully stoped. i also think that if rape is the reasion for the baby then it should be ok. also every girl under 18 need to have parents permission and they need to stop the dumb *** rule that just because a woman is pregnat does not mean she is mart and capeable of figuring things out on her own. hell! 24 year olds are nuts whent hey have a baby in them what makes you think a girl 10 years younger is any brighter?
