Some gays are always trying to "convert" someone else, or trying to prove there's nothing wrong with being gay?
Is that an onbsessive behavior or what??

kisha c, I'm not saying there's something wrong with being gay. I said that some gays are always trying to prove there's nothing wrong with it. I think that's a waste of time. They don't have to prove anything.

To answer your question...YES they are annoying.
Too busy claiming gay bashing to listen to your question.
Of course it is obsessive, kind of like trying to find fault in your question by dwelling on an obvious spelling error.
The question is WHY do they try so hard to package gay 'culture' as nothing wrong?
Do charity organizations spend tons of time explaining that feeding the hungry or sheltering the homesless as good?
NO...because it is self evident as good.
And does anyone try to package murder and rape as good? No because it is self evident as wrong.
So why do they ask society to ignore that gut instinct that screams there is something wrong with homosexuality.
Everyone but the bleeding hearts and gays themselves just listen to their gut instinct which claims which declares the 'wrongness' is self evident.
That was why they did not hear your question and immediately went to the defence.
That is why they wish others to 'celebrate diversity'. Somehow if society buys off they will feel vyndicated that an abomination is now normal.
Because deep down inside they know...

Converting and trying to prove there's nothing wrong with
something are too very different issues.
Yes, if someone was trying to convert me to homosexuality,
it would probably piss me off - almost as much as someone
trying to convert my religion.
However, the homosexual population has been continually
discriminated against, and you certainly can't blame them
for trying to establish some sort of foothold on normality.
They represent 10% of the population, the AMA does not
consider it either a disease or "abnormal", and there has been
no repeatable, reputable science indicating that homosexuality
is either a danger (or a boon) to anyone else.
If you were continually discriminated against, you'd be pretty
snippy about this too.

Fundamentalist gays are just as scary as Jesus freaks, Run Fast and Furiously in the other direciton. Anyone who obsesses with anything is a bit touched if you ask me. Why must one area of your life consume you and trickle over to other areas of your life. I am what I am as Popeye said and if you ask me I'll tell you about it, but if you just disagree and don't care to know I'll keep my opinion to myself. As I wish Fundamentalist gays and Jesus Freaks would do. There is a person out there who wants to hear their views, she just isn't me.

There's a difference between trying to convert someone to your lifestyle, and trying to convince others that you have a right to your lifestyle whether they agree with that lifestyle or not.
It's like the difference between trying to convince someone to eat a peach pie, and saying that peach pies have a right to be on the menu whether you yourself will ever order one or not.

i've never heard of anyone trying to convert another person to homosexuality. but hypothetically, that WOULD be as annoying as straight people trying to convert gays.
