I have a little sister, and she just turned 10, and she likes to wear fragrances, but everyone keeps telling her it's too mature for her. Any good frangrances for her? (Note: She doesn't like vanilla scents.)

Something kind of inexpensive, and a small amount of it. They sell goody packs that have things like soap, body spray, lotion, etc. for little girls. It won't seem so mature, but she'll still get the satisfaction of wearing the fragrances she likes! =]

You can go to Kmart and get some of their plastic bottle brand perfumes. (the brand name is slipping my mind at the moment) But they come in fruity frangrances not so much vanilla (i'm not a fan either). And they usually cost less than 5 dollars so if she earns an allowance or something she can even afford to buy her own and experiment. BUT any place like Walmart or Kmart or something will have fragrances in plastic containers.. that's usually how i determine what a less mature scent is (and they don't quite cost 45 dollars). It also gives her a chance to experiment with everything

I agree with your little sis - I hate the proliferation of Vanilla!

Have her go to a perfume counter and smell the testers! When she finds one she loves, maturity won't be an issue.

Choosing myself, for a 10-year-old, I'd go with something from Bath and Body Works, like Sweet Pea or Moonlight Path.

I'd try to look for a girls line clothing store, like limited too, and take her in there, they should have fragrances, it's hard for little girls because they always spray too much on, that's why bonne bell stuff doesn't stay.... How about sprays from Victoria secret? They wear off pretty fast.....

I know that Victoria Secret is a little more of a mature store but they have BODY SPRAYS. That is better than getting a 10 year old a perfume, and it's a little more girly.

The fragrance by Abercrombie & Fitch is really nice. Not too sweet.

The Mary-Kate and Ashley One and Two scents are wonderful. They smell sweet and fragrant, are undoubtedly mature enough to please her, and don't scream GROWN WOMAN either. (Don't judge by the name, I don't like the twins but I love their perfume.)
