i LOVE this movie.... im so glad it's coming out on dvd. however... what are the chances that my bf will buy it for me if i keep pointing at pictures of it and going "look look look!!!" :P

Just cause you ask him to get it for you doesn't mean he loves you less. Men sometimes don't take hints well...so the best approach is to at least tell him you really want the movie, and have been dying to own it, but if I were you I would just ask him straight up. :)

I love Little Mermaid too. I think he will get it for you. When Cinderella came out again I kept saying how much I loved that movie and then one day my husband brought it home :D

I love the Little Mermaid!!!! I collect Disney Movies, so my boyfriend buys it for me when they come out....... but then again we have been together for 7 years.
I suggest that you say "Oh, I LOVE the "Little Mermaid", I'vd always wanted it". Maybe that will work. Let me know if he gets it for you

Hi, you should tell him that watching this movie makes you hot and this is 100% sure way to get him to buy it! :o)
On the other hand, this can hardly be true for lovely movie like this one, so he may not beleive you!

I agree ... it is rude to demand a gift.
Subtle hints do well --- but don't get miffed at him if he can't read your mind. It takes time for you to teach him how to read your mind. Just pay attention to his eye's - they'll light up if it looks like he got your secrete message (giggle).
