Music and photography. Music just seems the most natural form of expression to me..the only thing that i can tell someone something more with is a something like a kiss, but thats only for special people.. Rhythms and the tones with them when imporving are nothing but a window into your soul really. granted yes, theres always the limitations of chords and such, but even those cann be broken when done right. Nothing can be as pure emotion as music, and ive had many people that follow my bands come up after shows (mostly blues and big band gigs) and say that they could tell what kind of mood i was in compared to the week before because of how i played. And photos just seem to be the ultimate way to exprese yourself with the natural world. Taking a picture allows others to look at things the way you see it, again, a picture is a window into YOUR head, showing how you feel about something, or just capturing that one very moment in time, being able to freeze it forever.

i AM A MUSICIAN and my pieces are sometimes well thought out and sometimes improvised. I play in a band so sometimes the music is a mesh of 4 peoples ideas. I also write a lot of music alone though. Besides that I also draw with pencil, write poetry, and have attempted to paint.
The only reason I am able to cope with life is my art.

i'm a graphic designer, so I create everything that can be printed. My favorite are large brochures with beautiful images and colors. I do this for a living b/c I love it. i couldn't live without it.
oh and in my creative spare time, i decorate cakes, arrange flowers, draw, paint, and pretty much make art out of anything I do.

I'm an actor and a writer. I think theatre is important because, if done well, it has the ability to let people see through the eyes of other human beings and makes people and circumstances relatable by evoking the emotion of the audience. It allows people to admit "wait a minute, I've felt like that before, I know what she's going through" and allows us to look at life through the eyes of people we might otherwise not let ourselves get close to.

I create halfhearted attempts at writing, sketching, and painting, cause I don't really know the purpose of them. Hopefully that will change.

I sketch without thinking about what I am sketching. Then it can be anything and everything I want it to be and I never really know what I am going to get in the end. I just express myself through it! It helps me relax and let go.

Music & poetry... Why? Because it's a gift from God and I believe it's the course He's set my life on...
To quote Bukowski " being still would drive you to madness or, suicide or, murder"
