Here is a link to a growth chart used in your doc’s office for girls (there's a different one for boys)....

It looks like she is above the 10%tile, looks like about the 18%tile. 50%tile means average so 18% of kids her age weigh the same, 18%tile is fine it's not a danger area. If her height went up quite a bit this last time, she might be trying to catch up to that. Kids go in phases, and if it makes you feel better my 1st was only about 16 lbs at 1 yr old. She stayed on her own little curve below the 5%tile, eventually she moved up past the 10%tile, but that wasn't until she was like 3 yro. Every kid is SO different, and if she is eating, gaining (not loosing) weight, and progressing in every other way i.e.: socially, physically, mentally, motor skills, etc I'm sure she will be fine. You just want to make sure she isn't loosing weight, or staying the same for a long period of time, and isn't delayed in other parts of development. Nutrition can affect development, but if there is no delay don't let the doc bully you because you don't have a chubby baby. I've had both and have learned that there is such a thing as a small boned/petite baby. My petite baby is now my petite 7 yr old. She is still skinny, really tall, but fine in every other way. She doesn't look sick or malnourished, she is just small boned. Good luck, above all trust your motherly instincts and if you feel something is wrong (or know everything is fine), stand up for it.

My 9 mo. baby girl weighs 18 lbs, My friends' 4 mo. old baby girl weighs 20 lbs, and my 8 mo. old niece weighs 25 lbs. I believe the average for a 9 mo. old is around 17 lbs. But you know all babies are very, very different. They go through their growing spurts at different times , so one month your baby might gain 2.5 lbs then only gain 1 lb over 3 months like yours did. I think she's thriving and right on target.

My 9 month old daughter weighs 20 lbs 10oz. which put her in the 85% for her age and her height is 29 and a half inches which put her in the 90% for her age. But all kids are different.

my baby is 9 month old today and she weighs 24lbs but she was 12lb 1oz at birth so she had a good head start. a girl who i have got friendly with since our daughters were born same day her baby weighs 15lb something. i think as they get a bit older the weight gain slows down a bit.

My little boy was 23lbs at 9 months. He's 11 months old now. But boys are suppose to be bigger than girls. And he was in the 75%...you should know if that's normal by going to the dr. They should tell you what percentile your daughter is in

My daughter weighed 24 lbs at nine months, but she is also much taller than normal. If you baby is crawling or walking it is normal for her to gain weight more slowly because she is more active.
