this is the first time in 3 years I have ever missed a pill, and i dropped it on the train and couldnt find it. i have been stressin about it for 3 days now and i am about to get my period in 4 days. if i get my period does that mean im ok and not pregnant? or could i still be pregnant? i heard that the medication builds up in u and even when women stop takin it so they can get pregnant they have to wait a while for it to clear outta their system. do u think ill be ok?

Your dog probably ate the pill. You should be fine but you should look out for your dog.
One missed pill in 3 years - NO PROBLEM.

The chances of you being pregnant are the same as if you took that pill. While no birth control is 100% effective so I wont tell you that you aren't the chances of you being pregnant have not increased because you missed one pill assuming you continued them.

Normally, if you have any pills left, you should just take the next one in your pack if you lose one. You should be ok, but there's always a risk. I guess you should just wait and see? Good Luck~

if you've been on the pill for 3 years you should be okay as long as you take the rest as scheduled.i suggest next time don't take it while on a moving vehicle

What you should have done is taken the next available one and abstained until your period. If you get your period you are not pregnant.

If you only missed one I seriously doubt it would affect your cycle enough to make you get pregnant. I think you will be fine. To be sure, call your doc. Good luck!
