Ok, my boyfriend and I of 3 years broke up a month ago today. Yet he hasn't went a single day without calling me. I love talking to him still, but usually it is he that calls me. He doesn't want to be back together, yet he calls me everyday, wants to see me, and I allow it to be every second day. We still sleep together, go out on "dates" hang out, and do all the things we did as a couple, other than the fact that we aren't living together right now. He's not keeping me on the back burner while he "shops" around for someone else or anything. Since he came up with this vow we both made to not sleep with other people, date, flirt, and anything with the opposite sex period until after christmas. He still gets really upset if another man hits on me or talks to me period. He acts like a boyfriend without the lable. it could be that he thought he was ready for a lifetime with you and he probably gotten cold feet so he backed off. do your self the favor and give it time, he'll come around soon enough and he'll admit to you what he really wants. I know it is hard to deal with something like this, but with time things will go smooth again.
