"JFK"
"All the President's Men"
"State of the Union"
"Dave"
"The American President"
"Air Force One"
"Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" (not about a pres, but it's the workings of Congress)
"The Best Man"
"Seven Days in May"
"Wag the Dog"
"Nixon"
"Thirteen Days"
"The Contender"
"Primary Colors"
"My Fellow Americans"
"Absolute Power"
"True Colors"
Some of these are just political movies or about the election of a president. Some are comedies and some are fact based. Some are just about the actions that go on in DC. There's many more, but these are some of the best and most common known movies about the "presidents".

I second Amy G's recommendation for "13 Days." It was so intense I had to pause it and catch my breath.
I also recommend the first few seasons of the TV series "The West Wing." I never understood how much the President's cabinet did until I watched that series.

"JFK" (Kevin Costner), "The American President" (Michael Douglas), "Air Force One" (Harrison Ford), "Dave" (Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver), "Wag the Dog" (Dustin Huffman), "Thirteen Days", "The Contender", "Primary Colors"(Based on Bill Clinton they say), "Absolute Power" (Gene Hackman and Clint Eastwood)...
There are many others... it depends on what in particular you want to see... I recommend "Thirteen Days", and as a light one the American President...
