I've had Cingular for several years and, except in some mountainous areas, have had good service. Sorry that your experience has been so bad and I hope that you have shared your difficulties with Cingular.

I easily have Cingular also yet have not had any problems with dropping calls. possibly there is a few thing incorrect together with your telephone. I used to have an LG and a Motorola and had an same complications. I were given my Nokia and it hasn't got here about yet very few cases. good success!!

If you're looking for someone new-- depending where you are-- I recommend TMobile. They have great phones and they have reliable service. And they have reasonable rates. Go to TMobile.com and see if they have your area covered! Stay away from Verizon as they charge an arm and a leg if you're even a couple hours late paying your bill! And the service doesn't seem as good away from major cities....

depending on your state.... if you can't use your phone, you can fight your contract. whats the point of having your phone if you can't use it. I fought to get out of my contract for the same reason...I also couldn't get service in many areas and I'm from a big city! I kept taking it in and they gave me a line of Bull_S*** everytime....
so finally we got out of it, and we're with sprint and it's MUCH better!
