My movie sound is all quiet????

I just got a vidoe from Limewire, and i went to watch it, and the sound was quiet, even though my speakers were on full blast. Explain plz.

maybe the file don't have sound soem of the files dont have sound because they are recorded with spy cams

maybe it is broken or scratched(on the film)
